Birdree??

BIRDREE?

You might ask why I chose (not an idea of me actually, but don’t tell anyone) this name for my blog am I right?!

Well, let me explain.

I’m dealing with a lot of things (like most people I guess) and I’m also a very shy person, I just can not talk with people I never talked to (I mean, you know, the kind of moments where you have to hang out with friends and they also invite other friends that you never met before? yeah that’s what I’m talking about) and that can be a handicap. A handicap that I can NOT control. Once I get to know them, it gets a little bit better but for example, I could spend an entire night without talking to anyone and it hurts sometimes and I’m even certain some people think I am antisocial, which I am not. I’m trying really hard to get over this and I do believe I can do this and I also know that I’m not the only one feeling that way, you know how I feel, we all share the same feeling after all.

Now, maybe you can understand the meaning of Birdree? Bird & Free(dom). The Bird comes out winner from this struggle.

The only way for me to talk is through the Internet, and I feel good, really good.

Love ❤

  1. Very well written. I seldom see people explain the name.
My first thoughts after reading this? That shy, Handicap person led you here and I’m guessing to many more such amazing things 🙂
Because the same was with me. When you have so much to say but you can’t, life finds ways to much better things than people around for example a blog, in my case my little journal.
    Good going 🙂

  2. Hi! The most imp tip I can give you is just be yourself regardless of what people may expect of you. You will slowly find that that in it self will loosen you up because it will make you comfortable just to be you! Glad to know you a little more! 🙂

  3. Hi! I saw this post and thought it very interesting! It’s because I share the same dilemma. I struggle especially with boys (mainly because I studied in an all-girls school all my life – boring, I know haha!). I actually wanted to do a number of facts about me on my blog to explain a bit about what I go through when meeting new people and being in new situations, but I’ve been very busy over the holidays! Anyway, thank you for sharing this! You are not alone and just keep doing what you love doing! 👍🏼💕

  5. Same here!!! I am way too shy for my well-being sometimes. I once sent a close friend off at the airport cause she was going to study abroad and another friend who I wasn’t close to was there so my other friends went to say goodbye to this other friend but I couldn’t bring myself to join them cause I felt so self-conscious 😦

So yeah, you’re definitely not the only one feeling a bit ‘limited’ because of your shyness. It’s great to be able to let loose and feel more freedom online, though 😉

    Much love, Iween. xo. ♡

  6. Interesting post, not a lot of bloggers explain their choice of name. I am the same as you are; shy but what I learned from someone is that if you are so desperate for something, you will never get it. So yeah, I just wasted 2 years of school just because I was so sad that I didn’t have any “real” friends. But now that I know the advice, I promise myself that I will never waste my life ever Again…

  7. I am shy too and a little antisocial. Most of my friends through the internet and the rest friends that mostly moved. You can talk to me if you want I put the invite out there. You are a talented, interesting, smart, kind and very pretty girl that I bet anyone would love to talk to.
