How I try to stay healthy

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well! in today’s post i’m going to tell you how I try to stay healthy.

So, basically, I went to the doctor, end of the year last year, and she told me I should try to eat more healthy and drink more water (I clearly wasn’t) to keep myself in good shape because my body is quite sensible. This appointment made me realize that I needed to change my bad habits, so, since then, I changed my diet and started exercising 6 days  a week. I feel so much better now.

Before, I wasn’t feeling comfortable in my own body, even if I wasn’t fat at all, I still had feminine shapes that I hated very much. I guess i’ve always been hang-up with my own body, and even though I know that I look fine, I always find a tiny little thing that reminds me that I’m not. Everything’s in the head, it’s only in my head. I remember I started wearing shorts at the beach in 2013 because I didn’t want anyone to see my hips and thighs. (This post wasn’t supposed to be a chatty post, I’m sorry if it is!) Just to say that since I started exercising (in my room, and it really works) I feel my body’s changed.

I started to eat more vegetables, things I was not really eating before, my food were only starch with cream, all sorts of greasy stuff, you know what I mean. So now, I eat a lot of carrots (I love it), courgette, broccoli and other vegetables. I used to eat a lot in a day, whatever the time, and it really doesn’t help, and it’s quite hard to stop. But I feel like, since I’ve changed my diet and started exercising, I don’t anymore.

As you can see it on the photos, I eat a lot of fruits too, it’s better than any other industrial biscuits. I can either have a fruit salad or fruits with yogurt and cereals (We’re running out of fruits now aha). I’m loving kiwi at the moment! 😉 They give you the energy you need for the day!

If you follow the SacconeJolys on Youtube you probably know they have a personal trainer named Lucy. Well, she has her own Youtube channel with a lot of 4 minute workouts to do at home (this is her channel if you want to take a look : Lucy Wyndham-Read.) That’s who motivated me, and once you’ve started one workout you never want to stop, it becomes really addictive because you fix yourself goals you want to achieve.  🙂

I hope you like chatty posts because today was one, and I’m sorry about that!  😛

Thank you to all of you, and i’ll see you next week for a new blog post.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics

This blog post is finally here!!! I had said some time ago that I would do it, and here it is! I wanted to wait to really test the products. I only have here palettes, because that’s what I love the most in makeup, eyeshadows. If you don’t know, and if you girls want to try some of her products, there are reductions on some of her beauty products on, it’s a good deal! 🙂

To begin, the packaging is small but handy, and it easily fits in your handbag. It isn’t cumbersome like a Naked palette (which I have troubles to carry) for example. Little hitch, the palettes only opens with a simple magnet on the front, which could be a problem in a handbag. But for this cheap price, They are really affordable products, and good quality.

Hollywood eye palette:

Fairytale eye palette:

Galaxy eye palette:

I was very surprised because the eyeshadows are quite pigmented, especially the darker colors so to use the last ones, I don’t use any brush, I just apply it with my finger.

My favorite palette is the galaxy eye palette, I absolutely love the colors, it’s quite festive! I highly recommend this one.

I didn’t try, but apparently it is possible to use these palettes for brows. But I’ll probably buy a nice brow palette for my eyebrows, tempted to get the urban decay one but it’s quite expensive. (btw, if you have any other recommendations i take it!)

I really love these palettes, some colors reminds me of the Naked 3, which I love. If you’re looking for cheap eyeshadows, then try Tanya Burr Cosmetics, you won’t be disappointed, and like I already said it, it’s a really good deal.

I hope you liked my new blog post (sorry boys). And I’ll see you next week with an other post, byyyyyyye! 🙂

Book review: In real life: my journey to a pixelated world by Joey Graceffa

In Real Life: my journey to a pixelated world:5 stars

Hi everyone? how are you doing? How was Easter? did you have/eat a lot of chocolate? A new week has already started and a new week means, new blog post.

I recently finished reading Joe Graceffa’s book, in real life: my journey to a pixelated world and I can tell you it’s a really great book, I gave it five starts out of five.

The book starts from his early childhood days in Marlborough, Massachusetts to his youtube life. Joey’s life was quite tough, in his book, he confesses about his most difficult moments which he never talked about in any of his videos on Youtube. I was very surprised of how much he remembered each details and dialogues of his life, he talks about so many things. That’s why I liked it so much, you don’t miss a single thing. He also gives some tips at the end of every chapters in harmony with what he mentioned in them. I had never read an autobiography/biography before and I was sceptic about it, I’m more of a novel girl. But I was wrong, because I loved it.

If you watch his videos (if you don’t no worries I’m gonna tell you) you know that his mom is a recovering alcoholic and has ups and downs and that, when he was a kid, he was bullied by kids in primary school because he has a little brain damage, so he was considered  different from his classmates (according to them).

I wish I had read it sooner because it is a really really good book, if you like biographies or even if you don’t, you should give it a try. the story was sometimes so heartbreaking that I let a few tears run down my cheeks.

I hope this review will convince you to read the book or tell me if you already read it, I’d love to know what you thought about it.

The Fujifilm instax mini 8

My exams are finally over (even though I had only two, I had to work more than ever) and this mean that I’m back blogging. You guys should give me tips on how to upload on a daily basis (maybe not every day but once or twice a week would be great) because even if I have some time, I somehow never find any. I’m not a very good blogger! ^^’ Anyways, back to the post.

I wanted one like this for so long, polaroid photos are so tumblr and they remind me of old times photographs, my grandparents’. If you follow me on Instagram, you may already have seen the photo I posted about the “Polaroid” (because it’s not actually a Polaroid) camera. I ordered it two weeks ago on Amazon for a cheaper price, 73€, also I’m so clever that I ordered the films after the camera on an other website and I didn’t know they’ll take more time to come. Whoops. Good job to me.

I went for the blue color and a brown leather bag (that I didn’t receive yet) which fits perfectly according to pictures.

I wanted to receive it as soon as possible because I’m going to Paris on the 23rd of April to meet a British friend and I absolutely want souvenir photos with him, and Paris as well but more importantly, from our first meeting.

So the camera comes with a little strap to hold your camera, very important because you don’t want to drop it. Also, with two batteries. I think that’s what bothers me the most, I would have preferred a rechargeable camera, but for the price I am not going to complain, it’s still good.

To use this camera, first you need to adjust the brightness. No need to configure anything, the camera does it for you, you just need to turn your little lens on the right light signal, where the red light appears. Then, you’re ready to take your photo. Make sure to be careful with the take-a-photo-button, it’s extremely sensitive, so I advice you to close the lens once you’ve taken your photo, you don’t want to loose a film, they’re pretty expensive.

The quality of the photo isn’t too bad for a cheap “polaroid” camera as you can see. I look forward to taking more photos. that’s a 4 star.

I hope the wait was worth it and that you enjoyed it. 🙂

Hey, what’s up?  I apologize for not posting more often but I have lots of things to do these days and I don’t have much time left for my blog. But I’m doing my best, I miss it and I miss you too. 🙂 I had told you I would write a post about Tanya Burr’s cosmetic products but I need to test them a bit more first.

I really love Stationery, especially little notebooks, some of them are really cool and whenever I go to a shop and see notebooks I want to get all of them, even if I don’t really need one aha but I always found an idea to use it.

I watched Zoella’s stationery video a few time ago and I really liked it so I thought I should do something similar, mostly around notebooks, on my blog. I wasn’t very interested in stationery before, it was as ordinary as a copybook for me (which isn’t). I bought all my notebooks in a shop called Hema, I know they’re some in the UK (good thing to know if I plan on going there).

Vocabulary and blog posts:

I first had this idea to buy a little one for english vocabulary (If you don’t know, I’m studying English at University), I think it’s pleasant to see vocabulary other than in a book, isn’t it? On the same day I also purchased one for my blog posts (as you can see on the picture I added little sticky letters) which I rarely use to be honest, because I always forget it is somewhere on my desk with the others, but I finally use it for the second time. I still think I should only write the main ideas inside and then develop here.

Next notebook, I really like this one, looks like an organizer. As I don’t have many courses this semester I have enough space inside to write my only two courses. It only cost me 4€. It has dividers and enough pages in each one of them.

My twisted dreams:

This last one is a leather imitation in dark blue. I spotted this one in the same shop (my all time favorite shop right now, I am obsessed with it, it’s so cheap) last week and I couldn’t resist. So, I have these dreams almost every night and I wonder how I manage to dream about things like that, because sometimes it can be so weird that when I wake up the next morning I laugh. I decided to keep my little dreams/bad dreams inside a notebook because I could seriously form a story one day, a little bit like Alice in Wonderland if you know what I mean.

That’s it for today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it. I want to thank you for 81 subscribers, I really appreciate that.

Old embarrassing photos

Hello blogging community, how are you all? so today I want to share some of my personal pictures but they’re not only personal, they’re also pretty embarrassing aha and you’ll see that I changed a lot physically! Make sure to have your eyes wide open! 😉

This first photo isn’t embarrassing at all as you can see, I just want to start with a photo of me as a child, a normal one aha.

Photos personneles

I can’t tell you exactly how hold I was but maybe I was between 3 or 4 years old. To be honest with you, I think I look cute and look at my hair, they looked so cool at that time!

Teenage years has totally changed me, spots appeared on my face, and it was the moment I had no fashion style, clearly, I didn’t know how to dress up.

You might not recognise me on this one but this is me, back in 2009. Hard to believe it huh?  Seriously, look at this jacket! what on hearth is that? I’m not even talking about the scarf. I disappoint myself because I used to love this jacket! ^^’ But at least I have matchy shoelaces and T-shirt.

Photo personnelle

This one compared to the others isn’t too old. It was taken by my grandfather 4 years ago, at the time I thought I was a model (i’m joking). 😀

Throwback to the time I was in a band. We had our own T-shirt with our names in the back, it was good time! 😛

Photo personnelles 2

Aha I remember this one very well, a friend and I were baking and I had had this brilliant idea to cover my face with chocolate.

Look at young grumpy me in London! 😀 How can I look grumpy in London? Young me was odd.

I saved the best for last TADAAAAAAAA

My eyebrows were totally on point aha ^^

I have a lot more pictures, but I am saving them, maybe you’ll want a part two?  I had so much fun doing this, I don’t care about posting old embarrassing photos of myself, I want you to know how I looked when I was younger aha. 🙂

Love from actual me,

A stressful birthday party

Well well well I have to tell you something, last weekend was the most stressful 2 days I’ve ever had. I was invited to one of my friends 20th birthday party and a friend of hers who recently turned 19 years old, on Saturday night, I had not seen my friend in a while, I was so happy to see her again. I met her in high school before the end of our final year, we became rapidly very close and that’s how our relationship started.

On Friday night she invited me to her mom’s place to spend some time together before their birthday party (because I knew I wouldn’t have been able to see her much on Saturday), and we had a whale of a time. The night started by going to the function room, it was a pre-birthday party (there were only twelve people so nothing to worry about for me). We enjoyed ourselves on the dance floor, me first. It was 1 am when we came back to her place, we immediately went to sleep, we had a lot of things to prepare in the morning. I’m going to skip the cooking part and talk about the moment I arrived to the function room. It was still quite early, the guests arrived 2 hours after us and to be honest, I spent the all time alone, everyone was talking together and I was alone in a corner of the room I was looking for some things to do to kill the time. There were around forty young people and I only knew six or seven of them which is little.

I really thought for once I was going to talk to people (I did talked to my friends), but I didn’t even try, it was too hard for me, I felt powerless and my fear took over me. At dinner time, I was feeling so sad that I almost cried I thought I was going to leave the place, but hopefully I didn’t. I pretty much spent the night sitting on a chair.

I was supposed to stay for the night but I asked a friend if she could drive me back home which she nicely did. I also had to explain it to my friend, and she understood, she actually saw how lonely I was feeling.

I hate being introverted, it literally prevents me for doing EVERYTHING, I would love to be different, but I don’t think I can change that. The worst thing in that, some people don’t take me seriously, they say it is just a phase, that it will change and it pisses me off (excuse  my bad language).

That’s all  have to say. Next post will certainly be a Tanya Burr make-up look on her palettes (I bought the 3 palettes last week aha).

Love ❤
